Wow! Ain't she sweet? I owned this 500 cc vertical twin from about 1971 to 1973. In some
ways, this was the "baby Bonnie", being fitted with twin carbs and performing very well
for the year. The sound is classic Triumph as are the aesthetics. It was a mistake to
sell this beauty, especially for the C$565 that I got for it (absolutely crazy price). I
suppose getting married seemed more important at the time. I should still have it. A repaired
stripped spark plug hole was all that tarnished this otherwise beautiful example of a motorcycle.
Even though this is not a maintenance-free ride, my rating for ownership desirability
is a solid 10 out of 10.
